Service discovery can seem like dark magic to Jini outsiders. Consider writing an example of the use of Associations by clients so that new users can get some clarity on the subject as well as benefit from the power provided by Associations.

Where would you like this information created? As part of the wiki or as a section under "Developers" on the Rio site? I had been thinking of moving the current Associations documentation off the wiki and making it more visible on the main site. What do you think?

In general I prefer docs on the site rather than the wiki. Wikis are great for information that is in flux or unstructured but this seems like information most folks will want to know. Seems like it might make sense as a new entry under Examples?

Under Examples? Humm I was thinking of moving http://wiki.rio-project.org/display/rug/Associations down to a section under Developers, and just creating a section in that for the client example you have requested.

I was also going to move this content down as well under the Developers section http://wiki.rio-project.org/display/rug/Watches+and+SLAs

That would be fine too. It seems like conceptual overviews make good sense in the Developers section while Examples might contain short, practical, examples without as much background material. Perhaps the Associations overview belongs in Developers while an example of client use could go in Examples?

Short code examples are also part of the overview. This qualifies as one of those I think.
